Crescent Estates is a desirable townhouse development in a cul-de-sac location in Upper Saddle River. The town is known for its picturesque private settings, excellent school district, proximity to parks, shopping, as well as convenient access to major highways, such as Rt17, The Garden State Parkway, Routes 202, I287, the NY State Thruway, and convenient access to transportation to NYC.
Originally a rural farming town of apple orchards, strawberry fields, and dairy farms, much of Upper Saddle River's history has been preserved. Some landmarks include the Hopper-Goetschius Museum and the Culture Center. The Upper Saddle River Historic Preservation Commission has registered many historic homes and sites with commemorative plaques. The town is home to several houses of worship, community organizations, an active recreation department, parks, and playgrounds.

The closest train station to Upper Saddle River is the Ramsey Route 17 station, which is about 3 miles away. This station is served by NJ Transit's Main Line, which provides direct service to New York Penn Station.
