Open House E-mail Alerts Help Buyers Plan Weekend House Hunting
A new feature has been added to Weichert.com that allows home buyers to sign up for e-mail alerts for upcoming Open Houses that meet their search criteria. By selecting the option “E-mail me new listings/Open Houses based on this search” from the Open House or search results pages, consumers are automatically enrolled to receive both search and Open House e-mail notifications.
The Open House alerts are sent out every Thursday and Friday night and include Open Houses planned for the upcoming weekend in the area in which the buyer is looking. The e-mail messages feature detailed information about the Open House properties, including area, price, property type, number of bedrooms and the MLS number.
By clicking the links in the e-mail, buyers can access the full listings on Weichert.com, see all the other Open Houses that match their search criteria and/or opt to get directions to and from the homes they would like to visit. In addition to the e-mails, customers can also view Open Houses for all their saved searches via Weichert Valet.
This exciting, new feature provides an added benefit to buyers.
