Existing Single-Family Home Sales Rise in May.

According to the National Association of Realtors, sales of existing single-family homes rose by 2 percent nationally and 4.6 percent in the Northeast during the month of May. In addition, inventories of unsold homes fell 1.4 percent to a 10.8-month supply.
